State-of-the-Art

Oil Field Soil Remediation Equipment

Iron Creek Group deploys high-performance thermal desorption units for petroleum-contaminated soil and oil field cleanup.

Conduction Units

for Advanced Hydrocarbon

Recovery

Iron Creek Group’s state-of-the-art Enhanced Thermal Conduction (ETC)  system mobilizes quickly to remote sites and treats hydrocarbon-impacted soil in place. The technology preserves soil structure (by NOT tumbling the soil), while safely extracting hydrocarbons from the soil, directing them into a condenser, where the contaminants are then used to fuel the clean-up process.

Ex-Situ Thermal Treatment Units:

Compliance-Ready Technology

That Meets EPA

& State Regulations

Iron Creek Group has collaborated with multinational corporations, engineering and consulting firms, and government and Tribal Government agencies to restore soil health in unique environments.

Here’s how our ETC units stack up:

  • Designed for efficiency, scalability, and mobile operations

  • Less expensive than traditional soil remediation methods

  • Hydrocarbon extraction from the contaminated soil fuels the remediation process

  • Restores land while lowering the carbon footprint of the remediation process

Frequently

Asked Questions

  • Our systems are nimble and portable and can typically be deployed and operational within days, depending on site conditions. This process makes treatment much quicker than traditional remediation and dig-and-dump methods.

  • Our mobile systems are agile enough to fit within the belly of an airplane. Once set up, these thermal remediation treatment cells can scale to the size required to safely and effectively treat contaminated land.

  • In-situ methods require penetrating the soil with a thermal probe, potentially hitting subsurface layers and mixed contaminants that complicate the process. Our technology is ex-situ based, which is more reliable, effective, and affordable.

  • Our technology can fit into small urban spaces and scale large areas of land. It has treated contaminated superfund sites, brownfields, legacy oil fields, and more.

  • Yes, we designed our contaminated soil treatment process to eliminate landfill dependency, with a predictable process resulting in zero reject waste.

  • Yes, as long as the soil is impacted with organic contaminants, our technology can handle a range of materials without pretreatment.

  • Yes, we designed our technology to meet or exceed strict environmental protocols.

Safety is Our Number One Priority

Our technology is designed to meet the most rigorous regulatory standards because we understand the biggest liability to site remediation is human health and safety. Our stringent protocols protect human and environmental health, and ensure an incident-free job site.
