M1 Infrared Technology

Treat Highly Saturated Materials and Sludges

M1 is capable of treating soils/sludges contaminated with pesticides, chlorinated solvents, PCBs, gasoline, diesel, heavy oils, PAH’s, and tars.

The Infrared Thermal (M1-12) Technology utilizes infrared heating elements to heat contaminated soil. The innovative design of M1 allows for high-temperature treatment of soil without the use of moving parts. As the soil is heated, the vaporized contaminants travel along with the heating elements and out the M1’s exhaust port. The minimal exhaust from the M1 is able to be cooled and condensed— producing recovered, reusable materials.

M1 is proven technology that treats saturated materials and sludges.

Benefits

  • Able to treat soils and sludges within 24 to 72 hours per batch

  • Infrared Thermal is a simple design - works via vapor pressures

  • Has no moving parts, does not require blowers or exhaust fans

  • Currently in operation in Antarctica with the U.S. National Science Foundation

M1’s mobile design can fit into the belly of an airplane making it easy to transport and safe to use in even the most extreme environments like Antarctica and the Arctic.

Safety is Our Number One Priority

Our process is designed to meet the most rigorous regulatory standards because we understand the biggest liability to site remediation is human health and safety. Our stringent protocols protect human and environmental health, and ensure an incident-free job site.

Even our technology is designed with safety in mind. For example, our remediation process is static— there are no moving parts. Contaminated soil stays in place, removing the liability associated with loading and trucking materials off site.
